Modeling Rubber and Viscoelasticity with Abaqus

Knowledge of modeling the elasticity of rubber and foam at large strains in Abaqus

 

Course objective

This course is addressed to engineers with experience in Abaqus. The course language is German, optionally English.

In this course you will gain an overview of finite deformation material models used for rubber and resilient foam.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Use experimental test data to calculate material constants 
  • Testing the stability of the Abaqus material model under extreme strains
  • Select elements for modeling rubber and foams
  • Design an appropriate finite element mesh
  • Model viscoelastic behavior in both the time and frequency domain

The course is divided into lectures, demonstrations and workshops.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel seminars or to limit class size based upon demand. In such cases refunds of prepaid seminar fees will be made in full. Nevertheless, we will make every effort to fulfill all scheduled training.
To help prevent class cancellation, please be sure to register at least two weeks in advance.
If a subscriber cancels a seminar reservation more than five working days before the seminar, 80% of the fee will be refunded. No refund will be given for cancellations made less than five working days before a seminar or in case of non-appearance.
