This class is addressed to Electromagnetic Simulation Analysts. The course language is English, optionally German. Before taking the class, it is required that you complete the class Introduction to the CST Studio Suite. This class is about CST's Multiphysics Studio and the performance of thermal and mechanical analysis. First, the basic concepts of heat transfer and mechanical behavior of materials are covered. Then the sources, boundary conditions, meshing and solver options available in MPS are highlighted. Subsequently, the steps of a EM-Thermal-Mechanical coupled simulation are illustrated.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Understand basic thermal and mechanical theories.
- Have an overview of CST's Multiphysics Studio's capabilities.
- Understand basic sources, boundary conditions meshing options and solver options in MPS.
- Be able to run an EM-Thermal-Mechanical coupled analysis.
