CST Studio Suite - Multiphysics
Understanding of CST's Multiphysics Studio to perform thermal and mechanical analysis
Course objective
This class is addressed to Electromagnetic Simulation Analysts. The course language is English, optionally German. Before taking the class, it is required that you complete the class Introduction to the CST Studio Suite. This class is about CST's Multiphysics Studio and the performance of thermal and mechanical analysis. First, the basic concepts of heat transfer and mechanical behavior of materials are covered. Then the sources, boundary conditions, meshing and solver options available in MPS are highlighted. Subsequently, the steps of a EM-Thermal-Mechanical coupled simulation are illustrated.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Understand basic thermal and mechanical theories
- Have an overview of CST's Multiphysics Studio's capabilities
- Understand basic sources, boundary conditions meshing options and solver options in MPS
- Be able to run an EM-Thermal-Mechanical coupled analysis

Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel seminars or to limit class size based upon demand. In such cases refunds of prepaid seminar fees will be made in full. Nevertheless, we will make every effort to fulfill all scheduled training.
To help prevent class cancellation, please be sure to register at least two weeks in advance.
If a subscriber cancels a seminar reservation more than five working days before the seminar, 80% of the fee will be refunded. No refund will be given for cancellations made less than five working days before a seminar or in case of non-appearance.
