Introduction to optimization methods for the SIMULIA 3DEXPERIENCE Material Calibration app
Course objective
This course is addressed to engineers that are familiar with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The course language is German, optionally English.
It is crucial to accurately correlate the response of the mathematical model for structural simulation to test data in order to model the real-world performance of assemblies.
In this course you will get an introduction of optimization methods in the Material Calibration app used to determine optimized material values, check the goodness of fit and exported materials for use in Abaqus or 3DEXPERIENCE structural simulation.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Import and plot material test data, configure optimization controls.
- Calibrate material models with the numerical and analytical execution modes.
- Create materials for physics simulation or export an Abaqus material for legacy simulation.
- Use FE-based calibration with a physics simulation or an imported Abaqus input file.
- Delete simulations, calibration data, or created materials.
The course is divided into lectures, demonstrations and workshops.

Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel seminars or to limit class size based upon demand. In such cases refunds of prepaid seminar fees will be made in full. Nevertheless, we will make every effort to fulfill all scheduled training.
To help prevent class cancellation, please be sure to register at least two weeks in advance.
If a subscriber cancels a seminar reservation more than five working days before the seminar, 80% of the fee will be refunded. No refund will be given for cancellations made less than five working days before a seminar or in case of non-appearance.
